Rocks and Mineral 101 w/ Harvey Duchene

In this three-hour class, you will learn about the volcanic origin of rocks and minerals found around Lake City. You will also learn the difference between igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. The last half of the class is focused on minerals common around Lake City and includes the hands-on analysis of a mystery specimen.
